Blood Test results

I got my thyroglobulin blood test result.
And it's official:
I was worried about it, I must admit. Heck, I have a PHD in worry studies! But you know what? The more we go through situations, the more I realise that worrying does nothing. It does not make anything better, it does not make me have any control over what I am worrying about. All is does, is make me stressed about possible scenarios that didn't even happen yet, how silly is that?
Blah, I really need to work in not worrying.
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
Matthew 6:25-27
I seriously love that verse. It's so true, worrying has no benefits whatsoever.
Everytime I worry, I am wasting energy. I really need to concentrate in distracting myself with good things when I start to worry.
What do you do when you start to worry?

  1. Rejoicing with you ...

Delightful to meet you and share in your thankfulness today. Simply beautiful, simply today.

Hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you.

    New to the gratitude community,

  2. YAY!!! No cancer!! So happy for you!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Yep I have a dual PHD in worry and fret. I fret about it and then that causes me to worry about what might happen and then the what if's start. Oh boy. Yep I seriously need to pull out my "So Long Insecurity" book and keep reading.

I currently have a situation that I am worrying about, in fact, worry is probably to light a word in this situation =) But just this morning have had a break through in my thinking. Thank You Jesus!!!

So I'm pressing on in Him.

And that's what I'm doing with worry =)

    Have a Blessed day,

  3. Praise the Lord, that is wonderful news! I worry sometimes also. I just can't seem to stop myself from thinking the what-ifs. All I can do is cry out, God, I'm trusting in you!

  4. Was your Tg totally negative?? Praise God! What wonderful news!
